Forza Horizon 5 Surpasses 28 Million Players

It’s safe to say that Forza Horizon 5 is probably the best and one of the most successful first party titles a Microsoft-owned studio has put out in quite some time, and sure enough, the seminal open world racer has seen the kind of success that reflects that level of polish and quality. It has consistently been one of Xbox’s most played games since it came out, and its player base has continued to grow at a steady rate.

In fact, as per the in-game Hall of Fame leaderboard – which tracks all players that have logged into the game at least once – Forza Horizon 5 has now been played by over 28 million players across all platforms since its release in November 2021. That’s up from the 20 million figure reported in June last year, so clearly the racer has continued to attract new players at an impressive rate.

Forza Horizon 5 is also set to receive a second expansion, which will be unveiled in full on Thursday, so it’s likely that the game will see yet another uptick in its player base sooner rather than later.

Forza Horizon 5 is available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. Read our review of the game through here.
